Bad workers blame bad paint
This trade primer is amazing! I've been using valspar (correctly and as a professional in the trade) for years! Can't understand some of these reviews. Some say it's like thick glue, then others say it's like water. Are these reviews actually about the same product???? Stir/shake properly! Try applying with foam roller. Don't keep going over where you just painted, it WILL stick to the applicator (quick drying...duh). I've used this on new wood, old wood, mdf and even over pvc! If used properly, it's just amazing!

Great coverage, and easy to apply.
Bought this product as I was not impressed with the more expensive Dulux product. In my opinion this Valspar paint is better and costs a lot less.

If you value your sanity- stay away!
At first I thought it was just me, but after reading the reviews I realise that it is just a bad product. It has a glue-like consistency and clumps together on the wall. The more you try and go over it, the worse it gets. Great if you are planning an Artex revival, but otherwise stay clear!!

Brilliant paint
Valspar is consistently good paint that stays white longer than other brands I have purchased.

Poor quality
Brought this as ran out of DULUX primer. Took 3/4 coats to cover skimmed areas, adding unnecessary time to the job. Incredibly disappointed. The product feels like it’s been diluted. Would highly recommend DULUX primer & undercoat instead!

NOT FIT FOR USE
Bought this as a cheaper alternative to zinsser primer as I’ve used the valspar paints and had good results however this has ruined my already prepped walls and I’m having to start all over again, flakes as soon as you put it on even after sanding and cleaning the walls with sugar soap, should have read the reviews, DO NOT BUY
