Great for construction jobs in the garden.
Just what I needed. Very pleased that B & Q still stocked 6mm round bar. You are the only company in the Exeter area that stocked 2m lengths. Would you consider selling them with a hot dip galvanised finish? Many thanks

Not 6mm
This is 1/4" and not 6mm. You need to turn it down on a lathe to make it fit 6mm threads. Or use whitworth taps and dies then it fits.

Plant supports
After seeing Monty Don making his own plant supports I have given it a go with this material. So far I have made bow fronted supports, tall hoop supports and Shepherds crooks to hold solar lamps. All cold bent with the aid of various items to hand and a workmate bench..

Hot Rod
I bought this hot rolled steel rod recently having search the market and failed to find what I needed. Delighted that B&Q had one in stock and at such a reasonable price. Job done!

Steel rods to strengthen Gazebos
I found using three of these 2m steel rods a great way to provide strength to a gazebo where I needed to hang items from the cross poles. Easy to insert and certainly supported the extra weight.
