A brilliant hand pump sprayer
I wanted a sprayer that I would enjoy using as I find jobs are easier when you have something that was designed to make the job satisfying. This model from Verve is certainly what I was after.

Quality product
Good quality product for use with more corrosive products. Handy cone to place around the nozzle to limit the range of the spray.

Nice spray
Anyone with a bit of intelligence can put the spray part together without any effort. Works well with a tidy pressure and delivery of contents. Nice long arm, so no bending down as with some other sprays. Easy to carry with large handle.

Poor design
Volume gauges illegible - embossed text on the same colour as the body. Flawed Funnel shape at top - makes emptying any unused solution impossible as some is held in the vessel while it's inverted. Shaking it just spreads in on the users clothes etc..

Waste of time and money
As highlighted by others, assembly instructions are seriously lacking. Of the three nozzles provided, two would no longer screw onto the sprayer after a week. The plastic screw cap affixing the sprayer to the tank then split during week two, meaning air constantly escapes and I get my hands covered in sodium hypochlorite. Useful sprayer
I have no degree in engineering but was able to assemble this product without much difficulty. The spray works well. my only query is re the two additional nozzles - no idea what they're for and there is no explanation in the instruction leaflet. would have preferred the product to come ready assembled.

Engineering Degree Needed For Assembly
Purchased this pump full of expectations. After a few weeks sitting in the shed boxed finally the good weather has come and intend to use it for weed control spraying. After carefully reading the instructions I've decided that i am not clever enough to assemble the product. This equipment is clearly intended for the 1% of the population who have an engineering degree and can decipher the really, really bad assembly instructions. Lots of different parts with no idea (even after reading the instructions) o how it all goes together. I'm going to take it back and swap it for a hozelock that comes (more or less0 ready assembled.

Looks great, but rubbish in reality
The sprayer looks very smart and is well-designed. However, they do not tell you anywhere that a vital part is hidden away inside another, and without finding this part, the product does not work properly. Then, the instructions for assembly are appallingly bad, and do not even tell you that the final, hidden part exists, or how to asemble it, when you do find it. And when you finally figure out how to complete the assembly, it leaks from 2 joints! Off now for the 3rd time to B&Q, to return it and look for something else, that actually works.

Verve hand held pump sprayer
I purchased two of them. Reading the instructions allowed them to be assembled easily enough. I have changed the nozzles infrequently, but what easy enough to do when required.I have not had to use the horn yet. My only observation is that the clip in the side to hold the lance keeps coming off when you lift the lance off and that the clip does not hold the lance tight enough, could do with being a tighter fit to hold the lance and fit to the tank. But it does what it says on the box.

Shockingly Poor Product
The language necessary to describe this product would not be allowed in a review. Instructions for assembly are disgraceful and gave up after 2 hours.
