Transformed my house plant care.
This device only cost a few pounds and it's transformed the care for my house plants. When the soil feels dry to touch it can be deceptive. Deeper in the pot, the soil can be wet. I haven't used the PH function much but I'll probably look more into the pH side.

Stopped working after a few months
Worked for a while, but now shows ‘dry’ at all times, even when stuck in a glass of water! Not great after only a few months, useless now and may as well go in the bin

Good simple to use
saves my house plants from being watered to death, with batteries brilliant

Useless Junk
Absolutely Useless, the indicator never moves wet or acidic when stuck in any soil. I tested it in Vinegar and it doesn't register no movement of indicator. I left it in a jug of (very wet) water and it barely indicates as moist.

Used to test moisture
Used for a month so far to monitor vegetable tubs. Soil looks dry on the surface but meter show sufficient moisture. Satisfactory tests on various pots including succulents to confirm accuracy.

Not very accurate
When I first got this I was impressed. However my plants started drooping and the meter was saying "moist". So I went back to my old method of pushing a wooden skewer into the dirt for 15 minutes. If the dirt sticks it doesn't need watering and if it doesn't stick it needs watering. Works every time.

Tested for a week so far
I over watered my indoor plants, and over the week they've dropped from 10 to around 5, the other 1 star reviews don't make sense. Well worth the money.

Used to test soil moisture levels
I bought this soil multi-tester primarily to test the moisture levels in my chilli plants compost and so far it works extremely well. It is very accurate at indicating how moist/ dry the compost is and I am also now learning how to tell the levels of moisture of my chilli plants by weight of the pots in conjunction with using the meter. The meter is very easy to use and to read the results. The meter is cheap in price and is well worth the money! It gives peace of mind and it helps you to not overwater, nor underwater, the plants. Happy customer!! Happy chilli plants!!

Doesn't work
Tested with various liquids. Reads pH of 7 for malt vinegar and pH 6.5 for a strongly alkaline lime solution. Returned. Completely pointless
