This multi-purpose compost has been specially tested and formulated to ensure your flowers, seeds and cuttings flourish and grow in the garden and greenhouse - feeding for up to 6 weeks.
- Use in pots and hanging baskets
- Composition - 100% coir, wood fibre, plant fibre
- Before opening the bag, loosen compacted compost. Before use, make sure the contents are well mixed. Take care when watering and avoid waterlogging. Check a few centimeters below the surface of the compost, if it is moist no watering is required. For smaller pots, the weight of the pot is a good indicator of its moisture content. For best results use a liquid feed to maximise flowering and fruiting. When using fertilisers follow the recommended dosing instructions.

Dependable compost
I buy this compost religiously and haven’t had any issues thus far. I do mix with my own so maybe that’s why but for first timers it’s a good shout!

Rubbish
Full of rubbish. Quite a few twigs. Not the fine tilth you want compost to be. Seems to have little nutritional value as potted on plants have stalled once potted in this

More like mulch material
I bought this compost to use as advised for my plug plants for potting on however on opening the bags I found the compost is more like mulch material with lots of wood pieces. It doesn’t hold water and quickly becomes rock hard. Many of my busy lizzies appear to have perished and the trailing petunias are fairing better
