Thin metal inner.
Metal inner liner very thin and prone to bend when attempting to put in the ground.

Excellent product for new plant support
I purchased this item a couple of weeks ago to support some plastic mesh to feed a new hedging plant through while it became established. It was perfect for the job as was strong enough to be driven into the ground with a hand hammer, without damaging the item, and then the mesh was able to be interwoven down the stakes to hold it in place and tensioned - ideally the stakes do need a plastic cap placed on top for safety

Does the job
Thinner than expected making it more flexible. A wooden stake would probably have been a better option as I had to try several ways to get it to secure my bush. Had to use two posts for one bush.

Exactly what was needed
I have a linear cherry tree in a tub. Last year, the birds took all the fruit before it had a chance to ripen so bought 4 of these to go in each corner of the tub and wound netting around them. Let’s see who’s the winner this year :)!

Long lasting
I have used bamboo canes for years and I appreciate they are good for the planet but sometimes you need something a bit stronger. These are just what I needed and will be useful for years

A great stick
An amazing product ! It’s a long stick which I can put in the ground, be careful though only one end at a time, and once it’s in place you can tie things to it ! Whoever came up with this idea must be a genius.
