Manufactured from high-gloss, 4mm thick optical grade acrylic, Vistelle panelling is a unique, patented product with a glass-like finish that repels splashes and bacteria growth, specially designed to withstand everyday life in the bathroom. It comes in a choice of vibrant colours and is available in 3 convenient panel sizes. It can be cut to your required shape using standard wood working tools and fitted using double sided tape and a neutral clear silicone.

Looks good but nightmare to cut
I am an experienced fitter and have found it very tricky to cut. Do not use a hand saw as the panels cracks like glass. I ended up having to use a circular saw which a still had trouble with. If you don’t need to cut this panel it would be perfect for you.

Nice stuff
I actually put this in a year ago and was coming back to look at possibly getting more. I had no problem cutting it - I used a circular saw with a high TPI and cut it backed with hardboard and had no problem at all. I drilled the holes with a step drill bit and again had no difficulty. The hardest part was holding two large pieces into the corner joint and getting it in the correct place. I left the protective film on until it was installed and that was a bit tricky to remove from the corner joiner. And I can say it looks a million times better than Mermaid board - like a glass splashback! My biggest complaint is the exorbitant price for the non-curing sealant that can only be bought in the full installant kit which was not enough for the whole job and the fact that I had to buy another full installation kit to get more sealant.

Warning do not buy
This product is a disaster to work with and cracks extremely easily when drilled or cut. It may be OK to use if all you intend to do is stick it to a wall but don not think of drilling or cutting it.

Looks beautiful
Brilliant and gorgeous finish. Be sure to read the instructions and use the right tools. Top tip - for not so straight walls use the cardboard packaging to make a template and measure at several points not just top middle and bottom. We are amateurs and found fitting pretty straightforward. Fixing kit was expensive - bits can be purchased separately and cheaper.

Expensive and cracks too easily. Hard to work with
Its such a shame. This product has the potential to look gorgeous but on installation it has cracked twice despite following the instructions. Overly expensive and not fit for purpose unless you keep to the standard size, affix no shower enclosure or cut outlet pipe holes

What a nightmare
Wish I had never bought these panels did not know they were only 4 mm thick. If you are going to fit this type of panel get some that are much more robust. Height and width I must admit good but expensive.

Caution dont believe the sales blah
Extremely expensive for something that looks so cheap My customer bought this and told me how easy it was to fit I could not recommend it to anyone.Its not easy if you want a classy finish that will last Not easy to get a quality finish and not sure how long the seals will last given the expansion tolerances they suggest are neccesary Not for the average DIYer

Would look good if it would stay up
I've bought these as an alternative to tiling my shower cubicle. I love the idea of the high gloss, seamless look. We have spent 3 days trying to get these up, one has cracked and they just keep coming off the wall when using the purpose made fixing kit!! They still aren't up and having to rethink - an expensive mistake at over £240 each!!

Hob Splashback
Cheapest price on the net. Well packaged, arrived as arranged. Almost ruined the sheet when drilling needs to be well supported, cut well with cicular saw and even better with a jigsaw. Tried loading photo but wouldn't work.

Looks amazing.
Really happy with this. Looks great. My plumber wasn't convinced until he saw it up & loved it so much he's getting the same for a kitchen splash back. Highly recommended.
