It does the job, but it could be better
Undoubtedly this underlay does the job it's made for. However it has a couple of issues. It's not at all flexible and is very brittle. If you try to bend or fold it into a corner or odd shaped space it will crack. And if you place any weight on a small area it will compress and not spring back. B&Q used to sell a similar product that had a gold coloured backing and blue foam front (I can't remember the make) - this was far better

Easy to use and seems to provide decent insulation
I bought this about a month ago. It was very easy to lay down. The lines on it help to cut quite nicely. So far, it seems to provide useful insulation.

Excellent product.
Easy to lay and easy to cut. Grid cutting lines make exact fit easy. Folds cause it to rise, but easy to control with a batten laid on top.

It was easy to use and simple to cut around difficult areas, gives a very smooth layer to put boards on. Just use the silver tape to tape any joins. No powder mess you get from soft under lays you can buy.
