Ready-mix has its place...
... because sometimes you don't want to faff about drawing water and continually adding it, then more powder because you made it too thin, then more water because it's gone too thick again... etc etc etc... AND this has a use-by date, which is oddly reassuring. It works too - leaves a fine layer.

Great Product
Great choice when stained matches perfect. Sands down great. I have tried using the coloured fillers but it’s difficult to get it to match the existing stained colour. Definitely an ideal all rounder wood filler.

Poor
It cracks After being painted over with fence paint I thought it was fine but after raining the areas that are filled show up Not for use outside

Waste of money and time
Do not buy this brand, I used to fill knots in shed, but as soon as it rains, it just turns to mush. Not the best for exterior applications. Definitely the worst

Do not use externally
Used to repair some damage to a wooden table. Applied easily in 2 layers over a 2 day period at a maximum 6mm depth. The following day the filler had set hard and sanded down easily. Over the following week the table received 3 coats of paint and then returned to the patio. A week later following heavy rain the filled area swole up and turned soft and mushy. Clearly this product us for interior use only.
