Product information
These Westland fish, blood & bone plant feed granules, 4kg, provide a source of nitrogen, phosphate and potash. Suitable for general garden use, the formula improves soil fertility and supports healthy growth of flowers, fruit and vegetables.
- Fish, blood and bone is a good natural source of all three of the major nutrients. Nutrients are taken up efficiently due to longer period of release in the soil. Being especially high in phosphorus makes it particularly good for stimulating strong, healthy root growth
- Apply 70g/sq.m around the base of established plants. Gently fork into the soil surface without disturbing the roots. Alternatively sprinkle the granules over the soil surface, around the stem of the plant and water in well
- Chemical care - NPK 3-9-3

Give your plants a good start
Asz a keen Gardener I always use blood and bone granular plant food on my shrubs and perennial plants. When I am making a new planting design I often plant new plants in pots with a good quality compost/top soil and sprinkle the granules in the pot, add a layer of compost to allow the roots to find the feed but not sitting in it. It is ver clean and virtually odorless. That way it gives my plants a head start and I can be sure when I do plant them out that they are just where I want them. I would certainly recommend this product and would use again.

Good stuff
I've bought this many times before and it has given me good results. I think there is definitely a difference in the growth of plants that have had this mixed into the compost and those that have not.
