Westland peat free multi purpose compost is the ideal medium for potting, containers and hanging baskets. With its high-performance, peat free blend, it improves air and nutrient supply to promote stronger, healthier roots and shoots. Containing BI03 and and a blend of nutrients, it will feed plants in your garden for up to 5 weeks. It's suitable for plants in any stage of life, so you can support saplings from germination right through to their flowering period.

Not too bad
As far as peat free compost goes this has a great texture and retains sufficient water.

Great for pots baskets and soil improvement
This is a great product. It has taken me trialing a number of composts until I found one that wasn’t mostly shredded coir. The texture is perfect, nicely clumping, moist and retains water well. Easy to plant in without air pockets as the compost is composed of smaller milled ingredients.

Great product
Have used other brands but this one is the best for texture, versatility and full of nutrients for my growing plants. The packaging is also recyclable.

Worst compost ever
Worst compost I have ever bought. It’s basically straw, sticks and debris with some soil mixed in. Impossible to use for seedlings and could only use it for pots once I mixed it with a better quality compost. How they can get away with calling this compost is beyond me. Compost shouldn’t be grey coloured straw! Very disappointed.

Overall good product
A good mix of materials a little more course than traditional peat containing compost but my seeds are germinating successfully.
