Strawberry Thief, created in 1883, remains one of William Morris' most popular and iconic designs. It was inspired by the thrushes that crept under Morris' strawberry nets in his garden at Kelmscott Manor in Oxfordshire. The original pattern took several days to print, with hand-carved woodblocks used to build up the different colours, making 'Strawberry Thief' one of Morris's most expensive cottons. Strawberry Thief Summer Charcoal features this famous image in a variety of muted tones.

Gorgeous wallpaper
The paper is gorgeous and so vibrant. The paste the wall was easy to use and less messy. The paper is really good quality and looks fabulous in my bedroom.
