Heavy duty lock.
I bought this lock to replace a conventional Yale style lock which I thought would be an easy job. Due to the reinforced features of the new lock a simple change was not possible and a number of amendments had to be made to the door before it fitted correctly. On a new door it would be an easier and more complete product.

Quality, heavy, solid
This lock just feels so well made. It's weighty, easy to operate and easy to install. I used this to replace an old basic Yale. I had to chisel out quite a bit and drill a few new holes but the instructions are excellent and include a template. It looks modern and classy and feels safe.

Feeling secure now...
It is definitely great product. I returned this lock first after talking yale customer service as was faulty. But B&Q exchanged that lock immediately without arguing. I gave 4 stars only for the reason of installation instructions. It is not mentioned anywhere in it - if your door is opening from right side (when you are out of house), outer part of the lock should be turned by 180 degrees otherwise it won't fit.
