Open and shut case.
Bought to replace letterbox that came fitted with composite front door that had broken on the plastic insert, perhaps by overuse or rough use or both! If it doesn't last any longer then original then will have to consider an alternative item.

Ideal replacement
Purchased this item to replace a damaged letter flap.The packaging was adequate for the job. Instructions were very easy to follow and the item was simple to fit. Well priced and just right for what I needed.

Good letter plate
I personally found the quality to be quite good. It appears fairly robust and I had no problems installing it. The letter plate which was installed on my house was made of plastic with a plastic hinge which eventually broke. This product seems much more solid. We will have to see with time how well it stands up.

Easy to do
Had to replace letter box someone who delivered that day broke it went to b+q got chrome effect one .took old one off put new one on just two bolts 5mins job done .

Not as good as I thought it would be
Will not use Yale again screws do not fit the letterbox

Very poorly made given Yale name
Bought this today and as soon as I tried to tighten the screws to fit this the thread stripped with no pressure what so ever. Very cheap screws with unsuitable thread profile.
