good sashlock
Bought this to replace an old but good quality lock. The new lock is working fine and no issues. Slightly expensive compared to other available brands, so hoping the price will be reflected in its quality.

Seems to be a well-made lock
I bought this lock and fitted it to a B&Q external door using the directions supplied with it. The diameter of the holes specified to set it into the door were on the generous side with the result that the lock was not the snug fit in the door that I'd have liked. I should have ignored the instructions and made my own measurements!

Inaccurate photo. Inaccurate manufacturing.
Photo on B&Q website does not accurately reflect the product. The Yale website also has conflicting product dimensions. When installed the bolt catches on the faceplate. Overall disappointed in both the accuracy of marketing and accuracy of product manufacture.

Great brand, great product!
Reassuringly sturdy and robust. Relatively easy to fit as an replacement. I did have to chisel out the door and frame to ensure a snug it.

Door Lock

Easy to Install
This lock is insurance certified, has the latch feature I was looking for and has excellent and straightforward instructions to install including templates. I downloaded the instructions before purchasing and then purchased the tools I was missing including specific to the mm drill bits, to make the installation much easier. Once received it is well-packaged and there are templates you can use to mark the cuts required on your door & frame. Took a few hours for me to install (non-professional DIYer) and done. Very happy. The only observation is that the screws provided aren't as heavy duty as was installed in my prior lock, and the BS logo cover over the lock is cheap. Lock seems decent enough for the price however and meets insurance standards so no real complaints.
