If at first it does work try again.
First handle wouldn’t lock properly, the barrel was too loose. The second one worked perfectly so am giving the rating because it took two attempts.

Didn't last long
Bought this in march this year to replace broken one I'd had for years , the lock seemed difficult to open and close from when I fitted it but in August it completely jammed in the locked position, impossible to open my window, in fact never had this happen before, so purchased a different lock, then , I had to watch online how to remove a jammed window lock , so I could replace it . I was surprised to discover the block that was jammed was made of plastic, the whole block fell out, lock was still jammed, but removable. I replaced the lock, my new lock has metal not plastic. Got a full refund. I would not recommend unless you want to waste time of keep replacing, and the expense of keep going to b&q.

Needed to replace previous which broke
Replaced window handles and door handle in my lounge with nice shiny new chrome ones 3 years ago. Bought this because I needed to replace the broken one and wanted it to match the new ones I had bought. Expected the first one to last more that 3 years, but there you go, quality!!!!

Okay aswell
I've only given this 3 stars because it does do what it should do but not easily. The lock part sticks when you are trying to open it. It does open but not immediately. i will have to replace them once I find another manufacturers version. Forgot to mention on previous review, the screw covers dont fit the screw heads

Replacement handle
Bought this for a replacement for a UPVC window and was very impressed. It fitted perfectly without any modifications needed. Price was good and was easy to install.

waste of money
i bought this handle to replace my broken living room one but it doesnt even lock so even when you put the key in and turn it you can still turn the handle to open the window.. useless really

Not worth buying
Brought two of these, one failed within 2 weeks and the other only lasted several months before they refuse to open anymore.

Broke within 3 days
Just like other review, lock worked perfectly for 48 hours then the fitting collapsed / broke in the locked position. Now trying to find a tradesman hopefully to drill out the lock and replace it with a new handle. A DIY job that should have cost 10.00 will now cost nearer a 100.00
