Rubbish
Don’t waste your money on this, absolutely rubbish. I made the HUGE mistake of replacing like for like on my loft! What an idiot. In the end I had to buy a different latch from another store.

Cheap rubbish - avoid!
Bought this to replace a similar latch that had lasted over 20 years. Screws were feeble and had to find longer ones. When I closed the hatch it held fine. Tried to unlock it and the catch would not release. Real pain to get the hatch door down. Catch was stuck and unusable. Avoid

Worst piece of kit ever
This is simply terrible. Fitting it is relatively straight forward but the actual mechanism is so unreliable. This is not good when fitted to a loft hatch! Closes fine, but only opens when it feels like it. Fitted yesterday and it opened a couple of times after several attempts. Been trying for the last hour today and I think I’m going to have to smash my new hatch! use a different solution!

simple to fit works well
Bought this yesterday fitted it and it did not work took it back to the store they replaced it immediately. Fitted in two minutes and works fine.

Auto loft latch
I bought this product to replace original which was beginning to fail after several years. I thought would be easy to fit, however, it was not easy and did not work at all. I now have to buy an alternative product.
