Did the job

I just bought this to cover 3 brownish stains in kitchen ceiling before painting. I applied and painted. I was sure I would have to apply 2nd coat but no need. It paint on a creamish colour but the white emulsion coat covered it perfectly, great product.

Excellent

I had a leak from the bathroom onto my kitchen ceiling and wall which were newly plastered and painted. I had to spray three coats of the stain cover on but it worked a treat and you would not know there had been any water damage at all. Would definitely recommend

Good

I bought this to paint over a stain on the kitchen wall and it worked very well.

Very Poor

I wont buy this again. I am being generous with 2 Stars as it covered some staining very well, but in other places bubbled quite badly, even after repeated sanding and reapplication to a prepared clean & dry surface. The biggest failure of this product is It also created an airbourne white dust that completely covered absolutely everything, and I mean everything. I then needed to spend over an hour wiping every surface down.

Doesn’t work on water stained ceilings!

Bought and used this product today on a fairly mild water stained ceiling. Used trade emulsion following requisite drying time. Marks still show through. I note other people had other successes on other materials but it hasn’t worked for me. Wanted the recommended polyfiller equivilant but Evesham B&Q only stocked this cheaper cr&p! Solvent based so it stinks the whole house out and coats everything in a light dusty sticky material. Recommend it? No. Buy again? No. What to do with left overs? Take it back for a refund!

Works very good

Easy to apply, not expensive, dry fast and just do the job.

Covers really well

Fantastic coverage over different stains and gives a great finish

Great cover for fiddly bits

I used this on a vintage baby high chair in varnished wood with many surfaces and turned legs. I barely sanded it, sprayed from a distance of about 20-30cm and kept it moving. It gave a great matt white finish and dried really quickly. I touched up a couple of misses and would probably expect to do a quick paint job if the high chair gets used for real. I've also used it on tongue and groove walls and ceilings where the knots in the wood show through. It's a great alternative to primer undercoat.

Job done

I only had one small water stain to cover, and didn't want to buy a can that I'd only use a tiny bit of and it would then go off. This was so easy, no brushes and mess. Just a couple of sprays! I intended to top coat it, but it has dried and matched to existing matt pbw and so I haven't even had to do that! It is expensive, but for me it was worth it.

Water stain back within 24 hours even after 2 coat

50 year old bungalow with old leak water marks. Stain was back within 24 hours of being sprayed even after 2 coats with 24 hours between coats
