Air admittance valves
Air admittance valves (AAV) are used to ventilate soil or waste pipes so the wastewater drains suitably from the property. They’re designed to allow air to enter the drainage system to balance the pressure and prevent siphonage of the water trap when negative pressure develops in the system, but they will not allow the foul smell to escape. Tradepoint offer a choice of push fit or solvent weld jointing systems.
