Note: this is intended for INTERNAL use.
I bought this to fit on my external soil pipe, but only found out when I unboxed it and read the instructions that it was meant for internal use - the external (more expensive) version is fitted with a mesh to prevent insects and external debris from affecting the valve operation. Returning this to be replaced with the external model for reliability. Perhaps B&Q should make this clear in their product description.
