Exactly what I was looking for. sturdy, good looking and a great colour. Time will tell how it weathers.

Trim used for decking
I had two steps just 180cm wide and decided to use this trim instead of hollow decking boards and the results were really good. It cuts well with a mitre saw and 120 grit sandpaper tidies it up nicely. The stainless steel colour matching screws go well with the trim and the only downside was they sometimes needed a bit of force to get them flush and that did snap the 'veneer' of the trim around some of the screw holes - but as trim is the same colour throughout it's not visible. Trim has a wood grain effect side and a flatter reverse (still with a bit of nice texture). I used the wood grain side for the steps and the reverse for the risers. The contrast looks good. Instructions in the screw packs says trim should be stored flat - B&Q store them upright, but as they have a lot of flex they can flex back easily especially when secured to wooden frame with screws.
