Does what it's supposed to at a great price
Bought one of these to let me bend 15mm copper pipe without kinks. Yes, it is tricky to fit inside the pipe, especially if the pipe is cut with a rotary pipe cutter, but it needs to be a snug fit. It's purpose is to support the inside of the pipe whilst it's bent & therefore stop it from kinking. If it didn't fit snuggly in the pipe it wouldn't work! I did find the spring could be damaged/bent if you tried forcing it into the pipe without fully removing all burrs. And making numerous bends, in numerous pipes, can also give you blisters from pushing it into each piece of pipe. But on the whole, and for the price, I'd recommend it. I'll be buying another.

Good product
I just wanted to pick up on the other review left for this product where the reviewer says that it doesn't fit 15mm pipe. This is the case where pipe has been cut with a pipe cutter as the cutting wheel causes the cut end to curve inwards slightly. However, if the pipe is cut carefully with a hacksaw or the inside of the cut end is filed with a round file, then the spring should fit without difficulty and, more importantly, come out easily when the bend is complete. It's necessarily a tight fit (which it needs to be to prevent the pipe buckling when bent) and bending pipe this way isn't exactly easy but it does work well and is a cost effective option for isolated DIY tasks. If you've not used one before, there are several videos on YouTube to give useful pointers but be advised that you'll need a strong knee and biceps as these are not supplied with the spring!!
