Pipe benders
Pipe benders are used to transform straight pipes by adding curves, they allow pipelines to travel around corners and at angles. An invaluable part of any plumber’s kit, they comprise a rigid part called a shoe that guides the metal into a new shape under pressure exerted using a lever. A pipe bending spring is usually inserted inside the metal that is being bent to ensure that the tube is not compressed during the process. Look for a tube bender that achieves the angles you require for the task in hand – many deliver 90-degree angles but some can manage up to 180 degrees.
