Agapanthus 'Donau' Flower bulb

• Planting location: Beds, borders or in patio pots
• Flowering period: July - September, Planting period: March - April
• Plant in a sunny sheltered spot. Dig soil improver and bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils add horticultural grit to the bottom of the planting hole. Do not attempt to plant if the ground is frozen or during freezing conditions. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering. Plants in containers will require regular watering and should be over-wintered away from frost pockets. Agapanthus planted in the ground with benefit from a mulch in autumn to for protection from the cold.
