Not really like it
There is no instruction at all. Also for some reason I just could not download the app.

Mostly good, A little bit meh, .
i wish it had PM1 and PM2.5 readings. Price seems a little high but because it includes radon, probably makes sense. Connectivity issues with the hub. DEFINITELY doesn't go as far as the distance it says it does through a house. Good product overall. Definitely important to know some of the measurements. Seems just the right thing for a guest apartment.

Does the job but poor communication
Happy with the reading this monitor provides but the manufacturer should tell customers you need to be with in Bluetooth range in order for monitor data to synch with the app. Heaven forbid you go on vacation and cannot obtain updated air quality info from your monitor.

Great product
I got this connected to my View Plus because I wanted to also measure the air quality in my bedroom. It's comforting to know this info.

Great product, Easy to use
Have had it for 3 months. Placed in basement for a while and now have it upstairs. Great to be able to test different living spaces.

Great hardware, ok app
The product seems to work great but please provide better access to data. While the aggregations available in the app are somewhat useful it would be great to have more control/context when using the app.

Piece of mind learning about radon
I have always been curious about the level of Radon in my house. The Airthings Wave Plus provides more than just radon levels, the detailed articles and explanations of radon and what affects radon levels has put my mind at ease. Wonderful tool to monitor radon levels

Saving energy, and maybe even a life
I have two Wave Plus units, purchased 1 and 1.5 years ago. The first Wave Plus was set up in our basement after an unexpectedly high radon reading. It started as a way to monitor improvement from planned professional mitigation. However, in the process of researching and getting proposals, I realized that raising our sump pump just a few inches might fill the space with water where radon was infiltrating. Sure enough, the improvement was immediate and drastic, and no other mitigation was needed. I have run a few subsequent alpha-track tests to make sure the Wave Plus is accurate, and it has averaged within 0.1 pCi/l over months of measurement. More importantly, though, it has indicated when radon levels have increased again. At the end of a dry summer, the water level had fallen enough that radon levels rose above the mitigation threshold. I took that opportunity to flush a couple hot water tanks, which drained into the sump pit. That extra water was sufficient to resolve the issue. I knew I had a problem, and I later knew that I had fixed it, because of the Wave Plus. Having that real-time information is invaluable. The second Wave Plus was set up in our living room to monitor regularly used living space. It revealed high CO2 levels that were accumulating after air-sealing our house and purchasing new windows. When I installed an Energy Recovery Ventilator to improve air quality, I added a Wi-Fi switch to control its run time. The Wave Plus communicates to the switch via IFTTT so the ventilator only runs when needed. This control system has worked exceptionally well. In cooler weather, the stack effect naturally draws warm air up through our house via remaining leaks. On the coldest days, there’s enough natural airflow that the CO2 level remains low on its own and the ventilator hardly runs at all. In warmer weather, the stack effect ceases, and the ventilator runs continuously to maintain a low CO2 level. Because the ventilator runs automatically only when needed, it saves a lot of energy when energy loss would be greatest. It is worth noting that the IFTTT setup required purchasing an Airthings Hub. It was disappointing to have to invest in yet another device to enable this functionality. However, many users might not need internet connectivity for their Wave Plus, and I suspect its absence is part of what allows the device to operate from batteries for such a long time, so I understand the tradeoff. The Wave Plus isn’t perfect, but Airthings support has been close. The algorithm for calibrating CO2 had an issue that resulted in some incorrect readings, at least partly due to continuous habitation during the pandemic if I’m not mistaken. Laoise in support was awesome, acknowledging a software fix in progress and getting a beta version installed when it was available so I could have a quick resolution. This kind of responsiveness is rare and greatly appreciated. For what it’s worth, I still find that the CO2 readings are most accurate if I set the units outside for an hour or so on occasion. In all, I have been very happy with Airthings and the Wave Plus. While it may never pay for itself in energy savings, it has paid for itself multiple times if I never need professional radon mitigation. Most importantly, there’s no price I can put on the peace of mind it provides.

Everyone is part of the solution
Since we're in the house all the time because of the pandemic it made sense to monitor the air quality in the house. Good news is setup was super fast, app is straightforward, and google home integration was quick. Bad news is CO2 and VOCs were high :( I'm happy we found out though and can make changes. The teens love it because they can wave their hand near the monitor and get an instant indication of how things are going without me telling them. If it's yellow or red, they know to open windows and turn the hepa's fan speed up. Thanks for making this easy!

Everyone Should Have One
I want to thank the company for making the Wave Plus. I was worried about the basement. Now I know how to manage when to open windows and when to close. Patch cracks. Everything you do shows your results. Always trying to stay in the green! You would not be able to do this without this device. I want to get one for upstairs, too. It’s worth the money. When setting it up we did not “see” it under Blue tooth. When you refresh the app you see the blue tooth. symbol pop up in the top right hand corner. That’s how you tell it’s updating. I recommend this product to all people who have basements.
