Fast and efficient. I’d strongly suggest having a few practice runs on an old bit of wood before tackling the real job. I had it at the first setting and after reading the reviews, used a very light touch, still managed to create a groove. Fortunately in a place where it won’t be seen. I also found it surprisingly heavy and had to stop fairly regularly. I guess when you get used to it that won’t be such an issue. Overall, highly recommended addition to your tool box.

absolutely brilliant just watch the power when you first get it it can run away apart from that what amazing bit of kit

Tool itself is good value, well constructed and removes material reasonably accurately, even in the hands of those not familiar with power tools.
Belt life seems good and reliable, but replacements are very expensive compared to equally rugged, professional quality third party manufactured replacements available online for a fraction of the price.
In all, a worthwhile addition to anyone's tool cabinet.

Excellent bit of kit .. You need to be carefully when putting pressure on it when fileing wood can be a bit brutal.. And buy extra belts. Very good from black and decker..
