Good in parts.
This product has done the job I wanted it for at a good price. My only quibble is that the replacement belts are not available in store. This is an inconvenience when you use up the ones that came with it faster than you thought.

Poor Quality product
My husband was supposed to bring the Black and Decker Corded belt sander back for a refund. As he didnt have my card B and Q replaced it instead of refunding it. I am going to get him to take it back and ask for a refund as was originally expected and it was of a poor quality and not fit for purpose.

Good value basic belt sander
Nice and simple tool to use. One note of caution is check the belt sizes, the website proposed buying the wrong size.

Does the job but !!!
I bought this for the specific task of cleaning up a painted railng which was rusting. It performed well in removing those areas of rust which were causing a problem. However after about 2 hours of intermittent use the rubber ring covering the front pulley split and detached itself. This appears to have slackened the sanding belt since it now comes off with very little pressure on it.

Excellent belt sander
Bought this to replace my old black and decker which lasted 10yrs ,hope this lasts as long,very confident it will because I find black and decker electrical tools very reliable

You do need another sander
I was sceptical of how much use this would be as I already owned a belt sander, random orbit and detail 'mouse', but none of them could reach one particular spot. This little beast is so accessible and removes material at an impressive rate and the dust extraction is as good any other belt sander. A very useful addition to the tool cupboard

this is a superb bit of kit to use when preparing surfaces in difficult spots eg surfaces to weld

Power File Ka900e
I bought this B&D power file to replace one I had for many,many years of faultless use.but time as eventually caught up with it, hopefully this one will provide the same service. The design is not to different than the old one ,I like the handle and the attached filter system in particular.
