This timber gravel board is designed to act as additional support for fencing and ensures that each fence panel is isolated from the ground, in order to prevent premature damage as a result of moisture ingress.

Not great
Received with one board carrying a huge black area - looking like it had been run over. Lots of sap weeping through with the reuslt that several boards were sticky.

Gravel Board
Used these gravel boards for a lawn edge, did the job just fine. Product as described online, good quality, competitive price, fast punctual delivery. Timber was dry for cutting.

Good value
Boards were delivered with care. They were as ordered and were flat so easy to screw into place at the bottom of the fence.

Lots of knots and overall not the best quality
This was a delivery to home - I would not have chosen these boards myself - lots of knots and unsound wood. One plank had about 4 holes in it...... Using these boards to build raised beds and they will be ok I suppose, but def not the best.

Great boards but only if you choose them yourself
Wanted 10 boards but picked only 5 in store as most had splits or too many knots. Might have been a bad batch. Great quality though. Would highly recommend.

Because these boards were not dried when I bought them the barn doors I built are not quite plain.

Gravel Board replacement
Used this to replace my rotten gravel board, my neighbour had a raised flower bed a few years ago and it was in constant contact with wet soil. With this new one i put a couple of coats of stain to match existing panels and post, also painted the back of it with black Bitumen paint to give protection from being in contact with soil on my neighbour's side, hopefully it won't rot .
