Sander is Okay for certain jobs
Bosch 220W Corded Randorn orbit sander PEX 220A purchased. As it does not have a handle the strong vibrations go through your hand, which makes it highly risky to hold on for too long, so more suitable for short burst and on surfaces which are not upright such as walls, as the weight and vibration eventually puts pressure on your hand. Putting the lack of separate handle and vibration aside, sander is ideal for short term use where you are not holding the sander for too long. You cannot avoid the dust, so make sure all area is covered and area is closed off from other rooms to contain the dust which goes everywhere and takes awhile to settle.

Too dusty
Bought to sand floor boards, but from the start it just blew out tons of dust. Returned it and sanded by hand instead.

basic piece of equipment
only has one speed and comes with one pad. Also dust collection is very poor. but does the job. hoping it will last long given it is bosch.

Does what's needed
Purchased to sand down solid wood kitchen cupboard doors, and it's worked beautifully. This sander does the job asked of it, with no problems after a couple of weeks of use, and perfectly in our price range as DIYers who want to do a good job.
