The Bosch ART 30 grass trimmer has a powerful motor and an automatic twin line cutting system lets you storm through wild and unruly patches of undergrowth just as easily as normal grass. It also has a 90 degree rotating cutter head which allows you to switch from trimming to edging with just one click.

Grass trimmer
Light weight and easy to use. However could do with a bit more weight to add stability. Also could do with a longer extension as I am 6ft tall.

Heavy, expensive, useless instructions, strimmer line incorrectly fitted, which wasted most of what was on the spool. Cuts grass reasonably well.

Does a good job for the money
Feels nice and styrdy...A more powerful cut than the rechargeable ones and won't run out of battery which is essential for me as I have a large garden. Heavier than some but I found it comfortable to use

Good and easy to use
Bought this product, not as powerful as our old petrol strummer but does a good job. The metal bar at the front guided us to a close edge which was great. Lightweigh and easy to use. Was able to cut grass down very low.

utter garbage
Flimsy and not built to last. Struggles with long grass. I regret buying this unit. I had always thought Bosch was a good make - clearly not!

What has happened to Bosch kit?
Really poor quality strimmer - cheap, flimsy feeling plastic that I really don't think will last the season. Overpowered motor means the grass is literally blown flat out of the way of the cutter! Loading the line is a faff for anyone who doesn't have nimble, pixie-like fingers. Having experienced a pretty poor performance from the battery lawn mower from Bosch last year, we're definitely moving away from the opinion that Bosch was once a reliable, quality brand. A real shame.
