A Trim in Time
Needed a hedge trimmer in double quick time to complete a garden project. Visited Middlesbrough B&Q and selected Bosch 480W trimmer from a great selection on offer. Available from stock, took it home and completed the task in hand to my complete satisfaction. Well done B&Q, well done Bosch

Headges trimmer
I bought this hedges trimmer last month. I scored 4 stars as it is amazing product which it works so well with my thick hedges and it can cut through bigger branches with no problem. It’s a powerful product I scored 4 stars instead of 5* because it’s quite heavy for my little hand. If the manufacturer can make it 1kg less heavy would be great.

Good replacement
I bought this when my earlier Bosch failed after 8 years of hard work. This newer model has a lower wattage (480w - 600w) but seems to do the same job. The single handle switch (instead of 3 separate ones) makes it slightly less certain to switch on when gripping from the side.

Good for thick hedges some design issues
Bought this product to tackle large hedges which it did very well. The wide tooth arrangement meant that on finer hedges (yew) it tended to bend the tips rather then cut them. The biggest issue is how the power cable is attached. Rather than going straight into the trimmer it has a plug socket which tended to unplug itself when it got caught in the hedge.

Good Cutter
Seems well made and cuts hedge, bushes etc, well. In fact if your not careful it will veer off into the hedge! Only criticism is the that the cable is a bit on the short side compared to my old cutter. Unlike some people, I actually like the connector as the cable can be disconnected and wound up separately to the machine.
