Perfect simple hinges

Does the job, but not great.
Not great quality, the chrome finish has marks on it. The screws provided are awful. The cross heads strip very easily even after drilling pilot holes. I even lubricated the screws with oil, but it made little difference. They also don't fit flush with the hinge so they protrude slightly which I personally found annoying.

Poor Quality
Poor quality, even squeak when new. Marks in the finish didn’t help either.

Nice looking hinge, screws made out of toffee
Nice looking hinges until you actually want to fit them, even after drilling pilot holes the screws supplied are made of toffee and not fit for purpose.

Chrome plated 75mm hinges
Bought these to replace 6 pairs of hinges on my existing doors. They are cheap but do the job and I think look fine. Far better than what was holding the doors for the last few years...

The measurement specifications is not correct.
Had this product delivered. The specifications states width 75mm. But this products width is 50mm.

They work!
These really are awful, cheap, tin plate hinges. But they do work! I hung heavy oak cottage style doors using these & didn't really have any problems apart from creaking when the doors were opened/closed. I think this is caused by excessive slack between the pin & holes and the plates are so thin the whole hinge pulls & strains against itself. A drop of oil on the pins made everything quiet & smooth so all good again! The screws are poor quality too but again, no problems, I drilled pilot holes for every screw and would say this is a must. These are an example of 'you get what you pay for' but fitted carefully the perform the task required of them, I have another 6 doors to fit & will use these hinges again thanks to the price.
