Great build quality
I bought this unit as a replacement for mother-in-law. I’ve as a electrician of 30yrs+ and having worked with appliance companies installing all different types of appliances I must say that so far this unit is excellent. The build quality is second to none, and has all the features of a much more expensive unit. At first I thought it was too complicated and maybe a problem for my elderly relative, but no she’s getting on with it brilliantly. It looks great and cooks great. Very very impressed. Since then I have purchased other Cook and Lewis appliances. Can’t complain.

This product is great.
I bought this oven 6 years ago when had kitchen fitted. I've noticed other reviews saying the door dosnt shut properly,it looks like it hasn't shut but the door rests against inner rubber lined round inside of oven door,this rests again this rubber when closed,this is the design of the door.

Very pleased with new oven
I bought this two months ago and I love it. Very simple to use , has the digital accuracy for the oven I wanted and simple to use timer. I’ve seen lots of negative reviews about how to use it and I don’t understand why. It’s so simple to use

New cooker
I brought this cooker , my first by Cooke & Lewis has my 10 year old Indesit cooker was not working like it did. So far I am just getting used to the many different settings, which has taken me a good month. The only thing that I am not liking at the moment is how long it takes to reach the desired temperature that I have chosen, other than this I am very happy with the overall, working and style of the cooker plus the price I paid

Very poor oven
Had this oven for 12 months, rubbish and a waste of space, large single oven but has only one shelf and a grill pan, doesn't cook evenly within the oven tops and bottoms burn depending where in the oven they are, to many cooking options and took me a long time to work out the timmers and settings, drives me mad. Also now the door doesn't open and close properly. Wouldn't touch it if I knew.

Odd
Strange oven. Hard to work, instructions useless. Lot of heat comes out into the room. Still can’t understand the timer.Only enough space for one rack, no room to do a roast and spuds. Not used the cleaner cycle yet so don’t know if that is any good or not

Disappointing and difficult to use
I was initially disappointed when this oven was fitted, I should have looked at it more closely in the showroom but ordered from the catalogue when I was designing my kitchen. To start with the knobs are cheap and flimsy. They are black plastic when you press them and they pop out to be used, a bit wobbly and feel cheap. The oven itself looked ok, but when you come to practicality its poor! - there is no off position with the knob, you need to read the instructions and discover you hit pause twice to switch it off! why!! - there are sliding rails in the middle of the oven for the grill pan, the standard shelf doesn't fit on it and remain stable. if you try the shelf tips when you pull the rails out. I can't find a way to remove the sliding rails so I can't have a shelf in the middle of the oven! - the controls are unnecessarily confusing. You shouldn't have to refer to the instruction manual every time you use the oven! you set the method of cooking and then the temperature. Straight forward, yes? the oven then sets a 9 hr count down?! why??? if you try to then change the temperature, it just flashes at you, I have no idea if its doing it or not. Its not intuitive to use at all. I regret spending my money on it, and wish i had gone for the Beko or spent more and bought the Neff.

Poor build quality
we bought this oven just over a year ago- 6 months in and the door won't close fully and lets the heat out. that makes it difficult to cook with. great for heating the kitchen though.
