Not fit for purpose!
I purchased this product a few weeks ago. It was not particularly easy to install and the instructions were not overly candid, I did not feel confident that the rail would remain in place and my lack of confidence in the security of this rail was well founded as it has fallen down on three occasions, once whilst actually showering! In my opinion this product is not fit for purpose, my advise would be to not waste your time and money on this heavily flawed product!

Flimsy and waste of money
This a so flimsy and poorly made. Please don't easte your money , go elsewhere as I have bought 2 separate rods from B &Q and both were a disaster..

Doesn’t keep its tension
Bought this last month and it was quite difficult to put up and tension and it’s already fallen down three times whilst showering so not sure how long it will last in the bathroom before I get frustrated and put it in the bin

It’s a good product but no instructions
It works well, and hold fine. However we spent a good 10 minutes trying to work out which bits to twist to get it to hold due to the complete lack of any instructions

Nowhere near as good as the one it replaced
I bought this to replace a white shower curtain rail that had become very scruffy due to years of wear, but it continually fell down even though I put it up as tightly as I could, so in the end I painted the old one and put that back up, which is much more secure and just a far better made and robust item.

Does the job it is supposed to do.

Not for my shower
I needed this rail to hang a quilt in a gap on my wall. Very sturdy and stiff, just what I wanted to take the weight of the quilt.
