It doesn’t splash all over the place!

Had to get rid of the trendy Bristan kitchen tap. Could not rinse dishes without rinsing myself from chest down to feet. Design over function! Had to replace the tap valves regularly. Never again.
Bought this Cooke and Lewis from good old B&Q because it was at least half the price of the above, thinking that if I again had problems I could throw it in the bin. Exactly the opposite. Such a smooth flow without any splashing even on full flow. What a revelation. Large tap handles totally functional for a 75 year old with slight arthritic thumbs. These handles, like the spout left to right swing, are very light and smooth.
Please don’t hesitate. This particular item is the answer. Yes ladies, I am a man!

Bit of a belated review, really. I bought this tap three years ago and its been fine ever since apart from recently it developed a drip on the cold (and most used) side. I've sorted that quite straightforwardly with a new inner part from the fixer of screws (2611f). Just thought I'd mention it for those who are struggling.
Doesn't last long.

I bought one of these two or three years ago and a plumber fitted it. It has in the past few months developed a drip from the tap and leak when operated from around the lever. It doesn't have washers which can be replaced. We're going to replace it with something which has better reviews, and/or can be repaired.
