Just what I needed
Easy to use handy little sander. Used it on floofloorboards,furniture and walls

Decent for finish sanding
Does a good job for my needs. Cost less than half the parts I need to fix my old p-c 330. Not built as robust as the old PC but the finish comes out better with minimal swirl. I only use this for fine finishing 220 or finer. Those who burn these up must be bearing down and not realizing it. No need with these. A light touch is all it needs. For hogging off I use an old PC ROS and for intermediate smoothing, I switch to a makita ROS that is nearly as good at fine finishing as this, but this is still best to get into corners, soften edges, etc. Only irritation is the non-standard vac fitting. The bag is ok, vac is better. Made one from pvc pipe that is just ok since fitting is not tapered so it’s not a great fit and slips. Now that I have a lathe, I’ll turn a fitting with a slight taper to fit the ID. But as far as sanding finish, it’s as good as I’ve used for a 1/4 sheet sander.

Long lasting and tough

Decent sander, disappointing paper punch.
Seems like a decent sander so far. I liked the spring in the dust collection bag, I can clean it out by holding one end and smacking the other end with the palm of my hand. The spring snaps the bag back into shape. I was disappointed with the punch for dust holes through the paper. It's made of soft plastic rather than metal like some of my other sanders. It wore the tips of the punch off in a single weekend of work, very disappointing.

Dewalt sander
Sure effective little sander. I have it hooked up to my Dewalt vacuum which does make it a ‘dust free’ work space. Great value for money.

dont get taken, its junk and no way to fix them
I had this about 2 years as a gift. It has seen hardly any use. yesterday it started sounding weird then I hear a clink and the motor jammed up. I thought it was the brushes, but it turned out the be the "platen". It totally fell apart inside and fell in to the motor fins locking it up. Going to every parts site, the replacement part is already DISCONTINUED and they say no substitute.There is no recall and they still sell these models everywhere. They even know its JUNK and still sell them.

Good sander
Had a few palm sanders like this. Only really use for corners the orbital can’t reach or rough wood. Works great. Would love if dewalt made paper for it with holes pre cut for dust collection

Great Sander
I bought this sander for a small project at my apartment. Since then I have used it for many projects and it has never failed me. It is powerful and effective. It is designed well for comfort.
