Nice item not too expensive.
It works well, there ought to be some recommendations about maximum bulb diameter as you can only get a little bulb inside the glass shield.

Poor design
I brought this lamp to do and job in the loft and found it to be totally useless at gripping onto anything which is what it is meant to do. I had to adapt it to make it useable.

Excellent value for money
Very practical. The hanger and clamp let you position it however you want. Nice long cable. I use it with a large LED lamp without the glass and it's really bright. The only downside is it lacks an ON/OFF switch. Definitely recommend.

Inspection Lamp
I bought this product recently and it does the job it was purchased for. However, it doesn't come with a bulb, which I don't remember seeing in the item description and it could have a wider grip as it is a tough job to get it to grip a rafter if used in the loft

This product really is great
I find a lot of Diall quality to be not so good - but this lamp is great. The bulb is shielded in a cage, plus inside a jar as well. The clamp works well - I've been trying to find a better lamp, but I just can't - this one is good. Only thing that would have given it 5 stars is if it had a shield as well - so when you're working on something, you can direct the light towards the job and not straight into your eyes. But this is a relatively minor point.

Grip and Hook.
The lamp has both a clamp grip and a hook which is part of the wire frame and is visible in the photo. Do not be put off by the 60W rating. This is the overall power consumption and many bulbs today are low power eg LED and low energy gas filled bulbs. Halogen and filament bulbs produce a lot of heat, I avoided them. I went with the LED bulb 100W equivalent which is about 1500 lumens. (tip: divide lumens by 15 to get the Watt equivalent.) I went with the Diall LED (Cool White) 1521 lumen (100W equivalent). This is a screw fitting bulb E27, not a bayonet fitting. Actual power rating for this bulb is 13.5W, well within the 60W rating of the inspection lamp.
