The Dimplex Optimyst range is state-of-the-art, using established ultrasonic technology to create an ultra-fine water mist that rises up and works with the under fuel bed lighting to give a fully three dimensional fire effect. The result is so authentic that it is regularly mistaken for true flames and smoke. The combination of ultra-fine water mist and special lighting creates a convincing illusion of flames and smoke. Bramdean is a freestanding fire which means that it can fit “flat-to-wall” with no inset depth required and can also be installed within a fire surround.

Dimplex Coal Effect Optimyst Electric Fire
I have recently had my new fireplace and Dimplex electric fire installed and I am very pleased. I used bottled filtered water and the flame effects are very realistic. My only criticism is that the fan is a little noisy

Over priced and the heating fan is very loud. The flames look ok

Don't buy!!!!
Very expensive, the flame effect is poor and the heating fan is very noisy. Help and support for this product is a joke. Very disappointing
