Dulux Trade Weathershield Smooth Masonry Paint is formulated for professional use; being easy to apply and having excellent opacity. The 2021 formulation includes a new and improved active ingredient to inhibit the growth of mould & algae within the paint film and helps it stay cleaner for longer. Also, the addition of anti-fade technology delivers longer lasting colour.
- Instructions for Use - Can be applied by brush, roller, airless spray or conventional spray. STIR THOROUGHLY BEFORE USE. Seal all new or bare surfaces with a thinned coat of Smooth Masonry Paint (up to 1 part clean water to 5 parts paint). The normal finishing process is 2 full coats of Smooth Masonry Paint, but on previously painted surfaces in good condition, where similar colours are used, 1 coat may be sufficient. In normal conditions, two coats of Smooth Masonry Paint properly applied to the substrate in accordance with the instructions will perform satisfactorily for up to 15 years giving good colour stability (as part of BBA certificate 97/3383). See current colour collateral for choice of colours.

Good Paint
Pleased with result, good paint, covers well. Not the cheapest, but best I've used. Will buy again

Very good paint
Used to paint a newly built garden wall, two coats, first one thinned 10%. Got the lot on in one day and the finish is excellent.

A Whiter Shade of Pale
I bought this to paint a garden wall that had been recently painted but looked, I thought, too light. This should have been, looking at the label, a significantly deeper cream. In fact I thought it was probably too dark and I might have to mix it with some of the lighter paint I'd already used. However, 😱, the label was misleading and the paint was very white, almost brilliant white! Very frustrating. It was good paint and went on well but the wrong colour 😬
