Does exactly what it says on the box
Great saw for the money, accurate cuts every and nice and compact, perfect for the DIY worker. 1/3 of the price of the professional version, comes with replacement brushes.

Good product for the price
I bought this about a month ago. Never used a plunge saw before but found this to be very user friendly. I use it more for mainly DIY. The rail works well and the anti kick back device wasn’t an issue for me.

Rubbish plunge saw, poorly manufactured
will be soon returning this plunge saw, the shaft has warble so impossible to make a clean fine cut. the blade also cuts into the rubber edge so impossible to line up, the guide has no smooth motion unless lubricated.

Overall A Great Saw
After scrapping my old busted circular saw I decided to buy a plunge saw. The Erbauer has mixed reviews but on balance it looks ok so I bought one. Overall a great saw. The anti-kickback, as other reviews have said, is rubbish as it tends to stop the saw travelling smoothly in the track and so like others I removed it. The dust bag as with all other wood working power tools in my experience is also rubbish, but as I always use a shop vac for extraction this isn't an issue. The saw comes with a good quality 40T TCT blade and two 700mm lengths of track. Extra lengths of track are not however available so if you need to cut lengthways down a door for example, then you need to get creative with the track and a 6ft level or straight edge. Other than that, it does exactly as it should delivering smooth cuts even at full depth with no break out. Other reviews complain about the plunge release button and power switch but I had no problems using them. I would have given 5 stars but for the fact that extra track isn't available and the anti-kickback is rubbish.

Great price for a track saw.
As a kitchen fitter with experience using Festool tools, I have to say this track saw is a great value for anyone just starting out. The cut quality and precision are impressive for the price point, and it handles well for various kitchen fitting tasks. I’ve gotten excellent results with it, making clean, accurate cuts consistently. The only downside is the track length, which can be a bit limiting for longer cuts. That said, it’s still a solid choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly alternative to premium brands like Festool.

Good saw
Good saw only gripe is the anti kick back makes it harder to use

Good saw terrible rail!
Bought this saw for specific project, fantastic saw, great cuts only ever borrowed a festool saw from a friend previously and although more cumbersome does the same great neat job. The issue is the tracks they didn’t match at all in any set up when linking them together causing them to be to tight sliding on one or too loose on the other. The cut edges were also sharpe so shaved the track guides on the base plate meaning constant adjustment. Ended up borrowing another set of tracks. I wish I had have bought the saw only and a better set of tracks. The saw would get a solid 4 only let down by the fiddly kick back safety switch which you get used two after a few cuts. The Tracks I wouldn’t waste my time giving a score to.

Waste of money
Used to cut six kitchen end panels, worked ok. Now come to shorten a door as fitting laminate and the plunge mechanism totally jammed and a piece of metal sheared off. Totally useless and complete waste of money. Would not recommend. Now stuck in the middle of a job and cannot complete. Cannot wait for a warranty repair so it’s going in the bin.

Cracking bit of kit for the price.
People slating it need to do a few passes instead of trying to blast through 50mm worktops in one go. I have a lot of erbauer kit and it's great.
