Farrow & Ball Modern Emulsion paint is a tough, easy-to-clean finish – suited to bathrooms, kitchens and busy areas. This tin covers up to 30m² per 2.5 litres on average. Oxford Stone is a deeper shade of taupe belonging to the Farrow & Ball Red Based Neutrals. The darkest in the group, it sits contentedly alongside the lighter Dimity and Joa's White for an all-neutral look with a tangible warmth.
- Surface Preparation - All surfaces to be painted must be sound, clean, dry & well prepared. The correct Farrow & Ball Primer & Undercoat should be used before the topcoat is applied.
- Instructions for Storage - Protect from frost & extreme temperatures. Best used within 6 months of purchase.

Modern emulsion Oxford Stone
Beautiful paint, goes on smoothly, coverage great and the finish is real quality, it is the first time we have used it so not washed but are off to buy our next pot but different colour.

Great colour and quality paint.
I'm delighted with the colour and quality of this paint. It was used in my hallway, my stairs and landing and looks wonderful. It makes my white woodwork stand out.

Lovely peaceful and relaxing colour.
After trying several Farrow and Ball samples seton Oxford Stone. Very pleased with the results. Purchased on three for two offer.

Marks too easily and cannot clean
Great points: Lovely warm beige colour, no pink or grey hue, rollers on easily without splattering or dripping Not so great points: This paint marks very, very easily and the slightest tap from my husband’s wedding ring left a pencil-like mark, made worse by trying to remove. We only used a dab of a damp cloth but that then left further marks (see photo) which now looks grubby. The paint is recommended for low traffic areas- should be corrected to NO traffic areas. I expected better from an extremely expensive tin of paint.

Quality Paint and Classy Colour
I used Farrow & Ball Oxford Stone to update an old honey pine console table, plus a mahogany bookcase and CD racks and they were utterly transformed! Oxford Stone is a beautiful, pale, taupe-y neutral which I like so much I'm now going to use for my kitchen walls when my new kitchen cabinets (in putty and old navy) have been fitted.
