Log burner
I have a log burner so it makes sense to have an alarm. Easy to fit and nice n loud. Flashes to tell you it’s live.

Great combo smoke & Carbon Monoxide alarm
Dead easy to fit and (should the need arise in the middle of the night!) easy to remove - ut it has a ten year battery so that probably won't happen.

Does what it says on the box.
2-in-1 fire/carbon monoxide alarm. We bought this to replace an older FireAngel product. Flashes green so you can tell it’s active, push to test button is very easy too. My only gripe is that it’s a little quiet compared to fire alarms of old.

Great product
Does the job and easy to set up. Compared to the others on the market, it’s a cost affective choice.

Didn’t last 3 year life span
Lasted about 18 months. Perhaps sitting on the shelves or whatever but did not last the 3 year guarantee before battery expired. Batteries are not replaceable

Excellent value for money
Easy to fit and very well priced. It's nice to know the alarm is working from the green flashing light every 40 seconds. We placed it on the ceiling on the landing. Excellent value for money for both a fire alarm and a carbon monoxide alarm in one! The alarm is also meant to last ten years! Would recommend.

Maybe OK but lights?
Don't know if it actually works as can't test for real but test button OK. Thing is the circular light flashes bright every twenty seconds or so and if in a bedroom then may be a nuiscence. Easy to put up.

a carbon monoxide alarm, not a CO2 alarm as stated
Carbon monoxide is a different gas to CO2. The difference is important

Very nice dual alarm, but a little expensive
I was pleased to find that it was possible to get a combined smoke & CO alarm, as this reduces the number of devices you have to fit, test & look after. This alarm is very easy to fit, and comes with detailed instructions on where to place it. Once you have fitted the bracket, just fit the alarm and twist it to activate the battery. One feature I like about this alarm is that the sound level is muted while testing, so it doesn't deafen you when you test it! Being an optical-type alarm, it's less prone to false alarms. My only slight niggle is that it's a little expensive- although you do get two types of alarm in one package.
