This FireAngel smoke alarm uses an optical smoke sensor which is ideal for detecting slow burning fires. It comes with a replaceable battery which will need replacing once you hear the low battery alert. This alarm cannot be connected to other alarms in your home.

Does what it says on the tin
Got what I paid for. Alarm is very loud so will definitely wake you up. Fortunately I have not had a real fire to set it off.
