Great fire “ A REAL FOCAL POINT”
I bought this fire just before Christmas and it has finished off the look for the sitting room. We love it.

lovely
Bought this to replace an old gas fire. It's modern with a traditional look and fits perfectly on my fireplace hearth. Exactly as described and does the job perfectly.

Very poor quality and service from Focal Point
Very poor quality casting of the front piece of the fire. Called Focal Point and they were not interested and would not accept the return. Had to spend my weekend travelling to B&Q to get a refund. Has put me off all Focal Point Fires supplied by B&Q

Nice looking job
Am now happy with it though I have to say that the decorative frame did not fit the fire. I had to modify it to get it to fit. If I did not have engineering skills would have had to send it back. Having said that, the fire itself was easy to fit and looks nice.

very pleased with fire was hard to take for the outer layer so could fit into my space, but once done a good fit

Looks just as good as the brochure!
We ordered this fire with some reservations due to the previous negative review and the fact I'm not a fan of electric fires, but we were very limited choice wise in our house. However, we are delighted with the cast iron front to this fire which gives a really quality look. The effect is brushed chrome which is really modern and doesn't mark. The coal effect could be a bit more realistic but the flame effect is nice and relaxing to have on in the background. Overall a great buy and looks very effective.
