Safety Information
The lamp should be placed on a flat, dry and clean surface. Do not allow the lamp to be covered; keep clear of curtains and bedding, etc
This product is suitable for indoor use only and not for areas constantly subject to moisture such as bathroom
Caution: Ensure the cable is routed so it does not present a hazard (avoid dangling loops where the cable is likely to be pulled/caught).
Never put anything on the product or hang anything on any part of this product.
The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire must be destroyed.
Always disconnect the product from mains at least 10 minutes allowing to cool down before any maintenance or adjustment
It is recommended to have a regular schedule of care and maintenance to keep the surface condition well.

Good practical floor reading lamp

Elegant floor lamp for any room

Super smart floor lamp - great value for money
Love this lamp - looks like it's worth much more than the price. Nice foot controlled switch, bright light using the E27 bulb as recommended, super easy to put together. Definitely recommend.

Excellent lamp for reading
We purchased this lamp for reading . Easy to assemble and ideal height to stand behind the settee. Unobtrusive with a nice finish and a substantial weighted base. Easy to adjust the position of lamp. We also purchased a Diall E27 4.9W 470 lumen LED Warm White bulb which is ideal for reading. The on/off switch is foot operated located at floor level around 1 meter from the base of the lamp.

Of questionable use
I bought this product because my overhead light is poor and it appeared to be a light that would serve as a reading light. However, inside the shade it says "Max 10 W" bulb which is clearly not going to provide sufficient light to read from, or very little else for that matter. The same instruction is actually also on the box but in very small print and, had I seen, would not have bought the lamp since if restricted to a 10 W bulb will clearly not provide sufficient light to reading. Will probably need to return. Can't see what use a light of this type is if restricted to a 10 W bulb and can't see why it is either. Will it burn out, burn the shade? No idea but I need more than 10 W of light.
