Great coverage and effect!
This was a great time to have received this complimentary paint in exchange of our honest review as we are doing renovation of our staircase and plan to paint it black and white. I’ve tested this paint on a planter pot (which we want to have dark black too) and it worked beautifully, it really well covers everything without any see thru. The drying process of paint takes a while so need to make sure there is no dust or anything flying in the air as it might get stuck into the paint and it’s quite sticky to touch after paint, but a while later it’s perfectly safe to touch and have a nice gloss effect too: Overall I am very satisfied, and if in future we run out of the paint while working on our staircases we will definitely buy more of this great paint!

A good paint
Overall I think the good home wood paint is ok, the consistency is ok and took about 3 coats the first two had me worried but trusted the process the coverage was ok and got the stair rail and bannister covered. There is a slight odor but nothing too overpowering and soon dissappeared. I had originally used a different black paint but that has chipped so sanded down and prepped and reapplied this, I do have some chipping again, I'm not sure what I have done wrong but from all different brands I always seem to have chipping with black paint im not sure if its because it's just more noticeable being black. I will try this on a radiator and see how this performs but just have to wait until that project is started. Overall I do think this is a good paint but maybe not for very high traffic areas or prepare to touch up but very happy with how it has turned out.

A good quality paint
My entire house is in the process of redecorating. I was really excited to take a leap of faith and use black on my banisters. It’s a really good value paint and covered well. I will use 2 coats as it recommends. Also it says to sand and use a primer on one area I didn’t do this and I will be listening moving forward. I actually liked this paint so much I continued to purchase good home paint for the rest of the house. I used a small paintbrush and will probably continue to do so. It dried fairly quickly which is important with kids around. The smell was a minimum and I love satin wood. Over all very happy.

Good coverage
I did 2 coats on our garage door no primer and it covered really well , I put stickers on for Christmas and it's took the paint off , hence the rating but could be my fault for not priming! It's thick so little goes a long way . Didn't take long to dry , good coverage

Durability
This paint is brilliant requires little for coverage so dont need much, drying is very fast and is very durable goes great on metal aswell or wood
