Roll the dice and it may end up looking nice!
Firstly the wire frame to hang and tension this shade is too long so it will be bent and under tension when hung correctly. This seems to only be an issue with this bigger Raqis shade, the smaller one's frame is the correct size. It is uncertain what this means for the long term durability of this shade. I could easily image that the shade might tear itself in a year or so (If you don't when installing; see below!) However the second issue is common to both Raqis shades and that is the installation. The frame essentially hooks into four wire loops; two at the bottom and two at the top. You align the bottom and then stretch the shade to hook the frame on to the top loops (or vice-versa). However the problem is that you need to stretch the shade a little more than its size to lock the frame into the loops. This can result in the frame slipping from the loop and tearing the shade or even you tearing the shade with your finger(s). All this while keeping the light fitting out of the way but still in the shade itself. (In hindsight it may be easier to set up the shade first, then hang it!). Regardless in hanging two Raqis shades (a big and small one), one has a small hole caused by the frame slipping in installation and the other caused by a tear in stretching the shade over the frame. As this is a paper product, I feel you essentially have a lottery in whether you will end up installing your shade with no damage or small tears. Caveat emptor! This said once installed, and if other people don't know about the tear, they will probably think it looks nice a modern. However you will know where the hole is and if you point it out, your reputation as a functioning member of society may plummet. To the perfectionists out there, you may also be kept up at night by the fact that the hanging mechnism requires you to bend the wire to the bulb; it does not hang off the bulb fixture. The bend in the wire means that the shade never hangs fully down and the wire will have a kink in it. This makes it difficult to hang the shade "level" as it will always tilt slightly and also the wire will not appear as going vertically straight down into the shade; you will see a slight bend as it needs to curve around the fixture hook. Depending on the stiffness of the wire, you may also have a challenge in getting the bulb exactly in the center of the shade. You could easily spend a few hours adjusting the shade you exact requirements!

Great product!
I bought this light shade despite some of the negative comments about it but I am so glad I bought it. For the price you get a really good shade compared to some other prices out there, it's a bargain!! I am very pleased!

Petit problème
Le tuteur en fer qui est a l'intérieur de la boule est plus long que la boule. Il est donc courbé pour pouvoir être mis en place. Je ne sais s'il va rester en place de cette manière.

Impossible à monter
L'armature est trop grande, ce qui fait que le papier s'est déchirée quand j'ai essayé de l'installer. Inutilisable. Plus de 11 € dépensés pour rien.

Good bright light in a simple form
I would have preferred to buy this from my local store but they only stock the very small one. So I have to pay extra for delivery! These ones are really rather large - B&Q seems to have stopped stocking the intermediate size, for which I could have given 5 stars.
