The GoodHome Shomali solar floodlight is ideal for helping you move through your outdoor space in the dark. The sensor will automatically turn the light on when detecting movement.
Features and benefits
- The Shomali light is solar powered, no mains connection is required. Perfect for areas without electrical supply.
- With built in motion sensor, detecting movement and instantly activates to improved visibility. The sensor range is up to 8 metres.
- With an IP44 rating it will be protect the light against splashing water.
- Solar panel can be installed on the top of the product or deported, including a 5 cable metres. The head can be adjusted up to down.
- Dusk to dawn sensor
- The floodlight can be placed at the garage or front door, lighting up your entrance and dark corners after dark.

Build quality ok, operation is iffy
Setup as per instructions, left to charge for 2 days and it has been very sunny. The strange thing is when the solar panel is connected, the light doesn't come on. It flashes to indicate the 3 operating modes. However, disconnect the panel, movement is detected and the light goes off after a while. Perfect. Why won't it do that with the panel connected. I will be taking it back! Instructions are hard to follow, I had to use Google for the 3 operating modes.

Bright light
Put this light over a driveway entry door, it is bright without the pir being used and like a floodlight with pir is disturbed. Great item quick charge up and neat . Easy to install.

Ne fonctionne pas
Le projecteur ne fonctionne pas ! Il faut appuyer une minute et nous avons essayé plusieurs fois et rien !!!!

Issues - let’s see if the replacement works
Purchased the product and followed the installation instructions to the letter. Worked for only two nights. B&Q replaced without a problem. Now looking to see if was a one off dud or poor product.

Bien...mais !!!
Sur le fonctionnement, rien à dire: correspond au descriptif. Bonne puissance lumineuse. C'est le côté fixation qui pêche beaucoup, aussi bien pour le capteur que pour le projecteur. Il faut bien prendre son temps avant de fixer les socles respectifs...Après c'est trop tard, il ne reste qu'un sens possible de modif: vertical. Rien ne peut se faire en horizontal. Encore un qui n'a pas utilisé le matériel avant de le mettre sur le marché!!! Je parle du concepteur, évidemment.
