I have purchased 3 Nest protects and all have been excellent. Works perfectly with the app. Just be sure to check date of manufacture to get the most value for the cost. My recent purchase was over 2 years past manufacturing date and although brand new I lost 2+ years off the 10 year life of the Nest protect.

Paramount protection without wiring
The Nest Protect comes with batteries that last up to 10 years. The best part is they network themselves; if you have an issue in a more remote area of your home, the Nest there let’s all the other installed Nests in your home that there’s an issue & where it is. Nest then TELLS you; that’s awesome.

Nice Product - Great Features
I purchased two Nest Protects Gen II to replace expiring Nest Protects (they were 7 years old). The features for the Nest Protect are great, I really like what they claim to do, I travel quite frequently and want something to monitor my home when I’m traveling. The Nest Protect enables me to do this, in return I expect a reliable product, which isn’t always the case with the previous Nest Protect.

Great Product
I love, love my Nest Protect. We now have five of them in our home. They are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and has a built-in motion activated light. You will definitely know when something is burning on the stove or when smoke is detected. The warning voice is loud and clear and each alarm on every level will go off simultaneously. The alarm is very loud.
