Missing parts
Just got this bender and the boxing was open and I was missing both of the 15mm and 22mm guides.

Reasonable tool at a sensible price
The bender is made from a sturdy thick-walled pipe, with aluminium formers for 22mm and 15mm pipe included. It is reasonably easy to use, although it would have been useful if there was much more friction on the swivel of the pipe retaining clip [in the photo, the black item at the head of the bender], to enable the pipe to be captured more readily prior to bending. It is light enough to carry to most jobs without much hassle [my task was in the loft, and this was no problem at all], but strong enough that it probably will last a good number of years. Bending was simple, although it would have also been nice to have angles marked on the fixed former, to give a quick and dirty idea for the less confident. The arms are sufficiently long to enable the bends to be made without much effort. On bending the pipe, my bender caused the pipe to thin a little more than I would have liked over the bend, although the reduction in wall thickness is unlikely to result in pipe failure for general work. The aluminium formers will probably deteriorate in time, but will probably be fine for the jobbing DIY person - indeed, a little wear may be an advantage. If you were a regular user, you may not wish to settle for this tool, but for occasional use, it seems good value.
