This ledged and braced door is produced using traditional tongue and groove methods. The timber braces are supplied in double side formation, this allows for appropriate support regardless if you are fitting the hinges on the left or right hand side of the door. This door offers a practical solution for applications such as an entrance door for an outbuilding or side entrance gate. Our ledged and braced doors are suitable for paint finishes only.

Warped Cheepo-Doors.Com
Awful. Warped & twisted "matchbox" grade wood. But had to fit it within 24hrs of being delivered - so had no alternative but to spend a further £20 on replacement timber for 2 of the slats and one of the braces to straighten it up ! - It's help together with thin wire staples - just about good enough for an A4 folder - but NOT god enough to hold the warped T&G clads to the brace bars...so I ended up replacing the lot with 30mm screws to hold everything together ! ... Don't waste your money - spend the extra tenner or tweny and get a better door from somewhere else !!

Buyer beware…
Although the door itself is well made, this door is NOT 44mm thick. It is 15mm thick and the Z frame on the rear is what is being taken into account with regard to the ‘44mm’ descriptor. This door is designed for garden gates etc, not for in a door frame, the Z frame on the rear does not line up with the edge of the door, so fitting standard hinges is not possible. If you want a door for within a door frame avoid this door, and get one that is actually 44mm thick and mountable in an aperture correctly. However, if it’s going in a fence line etc then it will be fine.

Well Made - Good Price
Needed to replace a garage side door. This door was a perfect replacement and with minimal adjustment was fitted without any issues. The door felt sturdy and was sized as stated. For added weather protection I coated the door in a couple of coats of wood stain.

Not fit for purpose
Bought this as a side door for the garage. It swelled so badly we had to damage it in order to open it. This is a very poor product and not fit for purpose. DO NOT BUY.
